Day 1 – ARRIVAL

Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, you will be met by Woni Safaris             representative and transferred to your hotel for dinner and overnight at

Day 2 – TARANGIRE NATIONAL PARK

After breakfast drive to Tarangire National Park, arriving for lunch at your lodge. In the late afternoon proceed on a game viewing drive returning for dinner and overnight at

With an area of 2,600 sq. km, Tarangire National Park gets its name from the river that threads its way through the length of the reserve. It is famous for its dense wildlife population, which is most spectacular between June and September, the dry period. During this time thousands of animals – wildebeest, buffalo and oryx – migrate from the dry Maasai stepple to the Tarangire River looking for water. Lion, leopard and other predators follow the herds. Tarangire is home to over 500 varieties of birds

Day 3 – TARANGIRE NATIONAL PARK

Today you will have an early morning and afternoon game viewing drives. All meals and overnight

Day 4 – NGORONGORO CONSERVATION AREA

After breakfast, drive to Ngorongoro Conservation Area arriving at your lodge/camp in time for lunch; the afternoon will be at leisure viewing the floor of the crater from a bird’s eye-view- the balconies of this lodge which is located on the rim of the crater, dinner and overnight at

Situated some 190 km, west of Arusha between Lake Manyara and Serengeti National Parks and covers an area of over 8,000 sq. km. the Ngorongoro Crater at 2,286 meters above sea level is the highest unbroken crater in the world. Surrounded by very steep walls rising 610 meters above the crater floor, this natural amphitheatre covers an area of about 260 sq. km and is home to unto 30,000 animals, almost half of them zebra and wildebeest. Such vast numbers attract predators a plenty, mainly lion and hyena but also cheetah and leopard. The Ngorongoro has been declared a World Heritage Site and is regarded as the eighth wonder of the world. Located within this Conservation Area also is Olduvai Gorge. It was here that Dr Louis Leakey discovered the remains of Homo hablis or “Handy Man” regarded as mankind’s first step on the ladder of human evolution. But many more fossils have been discovered including those of pre-historic elephants, giant horned sheep and enormous ostriches. Guides operate lecture tours of the site.

 

Day 5 – NGORONGORO CONSERVATION AREA

After breakfast descend into the crater floor for a crater tour and game viewing drive, lunch will be taken as picnic. In the late afternoon you will ascend the Crater walls arriving in the late afternoon, dinner and overnight at

Day 6 – SERENGETI NATIONAL PARK

After breakfast, you will proceed to the Mighty Serengeti National Park arriving to your lodge in time for lunch. In the afternoon you will proceed on a game viewing drive returning to your camp/lodge in time for lunch.

Covering an area of 14,763 sq. km, the Serengeti National Park is arguably the best-known wildlife sanctuary in the world. Serengeti means “endless plains’ in the Maasai language and within its boundaries are more than three million large mammals. About 35 species of plains animals can be seen here including, the so-called big five – elephant, rhino, lion, leopard, and buffalo. From June, huge herds of wildebeest, gazelle and zebra head north and begin their spectacular migration heading for the world renowned Maasai Mara National Reserve.

Day 7 – SERENGETI NATIONAL PARK

Early start tea and coffee will be served at the lounge, thereafter proceed on a pre-dawn game viewing drive returning to your camp/lodge for a full breakfast. The rest of the morning will be at leisure or if your energy permits go on a mid- morning game viewing drive, lunch. In the late afternoon proceed on a game viewing drive returning for dinner and overnight at

Day 8 & 9 – WEST KILIMANJARO

After breakfast, you will drive to Arusha where upon arrival at Kilimanjaro Airport you will board your scheduled flight to West Kilimanjaro where you will stay for 02 nights, game viewing drives will be the main activity. Upon arrival to the airstrip you will be met by your driver guide thereafter transferred to your camp arriving in time for lunch. In the afternoon proceed on a game viewing drive. KAMBI YA TEMBO – Deluxe/Standard

  

Day 10: ARUSHA / DEPART

After breakfast you will drive back to Arusha where rooms will be available at your hotel to freshen up. Later you will be transferred to the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport for your outbound flight.
